Surfing at Huntington Beach Under Dangerous Currents
A lone surfer rode waves at Huntington Beach while others watched as strong currents threatened to slam him into pier supports. Lifeguards in Newport Harbor rescued and stabilized a separate injured surfer, part of numerous Southern California coast rescues on Sunday.
