La Sirena Grill blaze causes substantial damage
In Laguna Beach south, La Sirena Grill suffered about $15,000 in damage from a structure fire. More than 20 firefighters responded to the 1:41 p.m. June 4 incident, extinguishing the blaze in about 30 minutes. An employee sustained minor injuries during initial efforts. lunchtime customers were evacuated as smoke filled the enclosed space.

After 38 years of smoking Jason Shaeffer opened E-Cig City on Coast Highway February 2011 to sell electronic cigarettes. He quit tobacco, noting family relief and cleaner sidewalks.
