Environmental Academy Formed To Grow Water Quality Awareness

Sunny Elizabeth Taylor launched the Environmental Academy building on Laguna Beach High School Surfrider Club success led by Mar gland Thomas. The six week program blends city staff and environmental groups to educate local students, with high school seniors earning community service credit and plans to expand to Thurston Middle and El Morro Elementary schools.

Laguna Beach 8 year old wins writing contest

Daniel Anvari eight of Laguna Beach has won a certificate of merit and four tickets to Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse after earning recognition in the Adventures in Writing short story contest.
