Mr and Mrs Tommie Weelms of Palestine Texas announce the engagement of their daughter Susan to Edward McArthur son of Mrs E J McArthur and the late Mr McArthur of La Marque The bride to be is a Westwood High School graduate with degrees from Henderson County JC SFASU and working toward a Masters at SFASU The groom is a 1968 La Marque High School graduate and is pursuing a BA at SFASU The wedding is set for May 20 at the bride’s home in Palestine PTA meeting and Academic Fair at La Marque Intermediate School on Thursday March 9 with an Open House and student work exhibits for parents and citizens to view.
