Community event schedule with pastor and youth coordinators
A church event runs until 10 p.m with food at 10 a.m and a feast and prayer from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Quiet time at 11:45 p.m precedes a Rap Session 1:45 to 3 p.m. Games start at 3 p.m. and refreshments at 4 p.m. Benediction at 5 p.m. Rev. Andrew Brown leads the service with Edgar Thomas conducting. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis coordinate youth and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stevens handle games. Attendees bring food drinks and lawn chairs. plates and utensils provided. Children may ride horses.

Missionary Speaks At LM Church of Christ
E. Joe Lee a missionary to Guatemala from the Church of Christ at Ross and Palm in La Marque spoke at the LM Church of Christ Aug. 5. He described progress in Guatemala where over 100 congregations exist and native teachers aid expansion. Lee travels by pick up camper and often flies from Guatemala City to reach distant communities, with his wife Jane joining many trips.
