Mrs. Happersett and son Cecil returned home after staying with Mr. Happersett's father in Portland. The elder Mr. Happersett remains very low as doctors fight blood poisoning that began at a foot infection. The leg was amputated, but recovery seems doubtful.

Peace Demonstration Planned by Women Groups
The Peace and Arbitration committee of the National Council of Women and National Suffrage Association urge global women’s groups to hold peace demonstrations as near May 16 as possible. In La Grange the L. D. 8 Relief and Young Ladies Association will host a meeting at the Tabernacle on Sunday May 23 at 2 p m. The program features poems, talks on the Hague Conference its causes and results, and songs.
