Farmers Union links with Pacific Star to form Oregon fire insurance
The Farmers Union of Oregon counties consolidates with Pacific Star to create a large Oregon fire insurance company. Manuel Friedly of Helix leads the union group with J W McAllister and others guiding the merger. An office will operate in Deton and Macare Avenue, with E W McComas named local representative. Retiring directors urge patrons to support the new consolidated institution as beneficial for all interests.
