Mary L Henderson of Umatilla left her husband Charles F Henderson for Henry J Akimoto a Japanese man in Pendleton. The couple married July 31 1890 in Huron West Virginia and have no children. Henderson sues for divorce claiming adultery March this year and that Mary then fled with Akimoto to Portland.

Accidental Shot Wounds Pacific Express Agent
An accidental discharge from a buckshot loaded gun in the Pacific Express office yesterday morning injured A. H. Stel, the local agent. A wall between him and the charged cartridge prevented a worse injury as a shot passed through the wall and lodged in his clothing without breaking the skin. The gun belonged to the express money agent.
