Body found in Lake Michigan with drowning verdict
Racine Wisconsin July 28 The body of Henry Miller was found in Lake Michigan. A coroner s jury returned a verdict of death by drowning with a suggestion of possible foul play. Miller had borrowed 3000 from the Mainhardt bank of Barlingtes using a note. A stranger claiming to be Pratt, cashier of Racine s First National Bank, supposedly dealt with him and produced a document claiming mortgage riches. The planned Racine deal collapsed when Miller arrived and the stranger vanished. Miller s mind has been deranged at times, and the money loss may have affected him.
