The Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company offers a special one and one third fare certificate plan for a trip from all points to Port And return. Attending passengers paying 500 or more qualify, certificates signed by H F E Cram, secretary, at Gladstone Park Oregon by July 1 1908. Tickets sold on three days prior or opening day. Gladstone Park lies 12 miles south of Portland accessible by electric lines.

Smith at Work Today After Head Injury
L. C. Brotth owner of the Bim street garage was struck on the head with a wrench by an unknown assailant while at work. He believes a hob o culprit entered unguarded, fled before details could be seen, and struck as he turned with a tool. The blow bruised the scalp but cap protection limited injury.
