Gladstone Park Oregon hosts a certificate plan fare from all lines to Portland and return at one and one third fare for 50 paying passengers. Certificates signed by H B Crows secretary must be in by July List 1908. Tickets may be sold on three days prior to or opening day. Park lies 12 miles south of Portland reachable by electric lines.

Barley Field Burns After Threshing Engine Fire
A threshing engine on the Harry Collins farm near Valley Grove ignited a barley field owned by Mr. Colling. About 40 acres of the 120 acre field burned, destroying over 2000 bushels as smoke hindered firefighting. A 70 man fire company formed quickly but gain of ground took over an hour. The threshing separator and other machinery were unharmed.
