A priest heard her final confession this morning and she showed no concern when the sheriff read the death warrant. This is the third time she has faced the warrant and she says she fears not death this time.
Willam McSwain and Wilbur Cole pleaded guilty to blackmail and were sentenced to thirty days in the county jail. The pair had attempted to extort Armour, the meat packer, in Chicago.

In St Peteraburg on December 7 three cavalry squadrons mutinied and fled to safety after refusing to salute their commander. The revolutionary committee condemned Father Gapon to death for aiding the people. A trial sentenced him to death and was approved by the central committee. A clash later left many Cossacks and striers wounded or dead.
