Murder Attempt Leaves Spokane Lumber Grader in Fear
Charles Breele of Spokane, a lumber grader, was slugged and robbed on Center street in Baker City, Oregon. He woke beside a woodpile with leaves covering him and one missing $57 bill. Breele recalls a shrill whistle just before the attack and plans to stay silent about the incident.
