North Bank Last Lap Begun From Pasco to Spokane
Pasco begins a new railroad epoch as the Spokane Portland & Seattle line starts track laying on the east division with 220 workers under Porter Bros. The line will be rock ballasted with 5 pound steel rails clamped to ties. Tracklaying advances at about two miles daily with rapid, continuous operations and multiple crews in action.
