Idaho fruit prospects improve with spray for moth control
The Pole Payette Fruitgrowers union plans a strong effort for an exceptional season. They received a truckload of arsenite spray at about 25 cents per 50 gallons, less than half the usual price, to combat the codling moth. An informal Commercial club meeting with Judge Wood and others discussed boxes crates and paper, noting banded quotations for bulk materials and potential savings for growers through union purchasing.
