A 110 by 30 foot modern dairy barn at the Leon Heuer farm five miles south of Sparta burned. Heuer found the blaze at 7 am as hay mow ends with 100 tons of hay burned. Cattle were saved and milk drained. Loss estimated 20 000 to 25 000 with insurance partial. Fire from faulty wiring suspected. Rural Fire Fighters responded.
