In Appleton Wisconsin a 64 year old Oneida man Chauncey Cox died after being struck by a car driven by his son Rimtonil Cox near his son's home in Oneida. Authorities said Rimtonil appeared intoxicated and later admitted he did not know he struck his father. The incident occurred about two blocks from Rimtonil’s home and Cox died at St Vincent hospital in Green Bay.
Approximately two dozen donors answered a Friday appeal by the Red Cross for O negative blood. Additional donors were urged to come Saturday and Sunday to aid a Lutheran hospital patient in need.

Madison Wis Adv Gen Ralph J Olsen said he would issue orders Monday for reorganizing five Wisconsin national air guard units. The plan moves headquarters to Gen Mitchell field Milwaukee under Lt Col Collins Ferris. The reallocation adds 233 airmen to Wisconsin air guard total, while officer count stays at 22. Ferris praised expanded room for recruiting, noting 30 applicants were turned away at a recent meeting.
