Patrick Burns aged 81 died yesterday at his La Crescent home from heart failure after a short illness. Born in Donegal Ireland he settled in La Crescent over fifty years ago and worked in farming. Survived by wife four sons William Thomas John and Charles and three daughters Mary Tiffany Susy Turnbull and Catherine Burns all of La Crescent. Funeral at 9 am from home and 10 am from La Crescent Catholic church Rev Henry Dolle to officiate burial in La Crescent Catholic cemetery.
