Adventists Lose Bid for Union Exemption in Wisconsin
Wisconsin Senate rejected a measure by Seventh Day Adventists to exempt members from joining unions or fair share payments. The vote blocks a religious group backed exemption while other actions included debated fetal death certificate provisions and health program contracting bills. The session also revived a probate court measure and announced La Crosse Symphony Orchestra directors and 1973-74 season tickets.
