Tanaka presses for four island return in Moscow talks
Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka bluntly told Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev that Japan seeks the return of four occupied islands as the main aim of his Moscow visit. The talks also covered peace treaty prospects and regional co operation with Siberia’s resources.
