New Bookmobile Set to Serve Four Counties in Area
La Crosse Area Library Systems will launch a new bookmobile Tuesday to serve La Crosse Monroe Juneau and Trempealeau counties. The $48,000 unit, bought from Wooster Ohio, holds 4000 books and was funded by local and state sources. It will have an open house in La Crosse County with dates for other counties to be announced. The service has operated since 1967 and makes 14 stops in La Crosse County.
