Two Counties Inspect McGilvray Road Bridge Plan
Highway committees from La Crosse and Trempealeau counties inspected the McGilvray road bridge closed a year ago for safety. They discussed reopening to light traffic but reached no decision. Mrs Henry Gund Funds 300 Acre Camp Expansion for Scouts
Camp Decorah in La Crosse will gain 300 acres to enlarge its 97 acre site as part of a five year plan. Mrs Henry Gund donated the land in memory of her late husband Henry Gund, enabling one third of the new acreage to be wooded for hiking and camping.
