Walton Ofstedahl, 30, of Holmen area, named La Crosse County outstanding young farmer of the year by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He operates three 410 acre dairy farms with his father Walter and brother John, using modern methods and conservation. He will represent the county in April eliminations for the state award and possible national contest.
