Nelvin I. Peterson, 57, former Osseo Cooperative Creamery butter maker, pleaded guilty to seven counts of larceny. Judge Carl H. Daley sentenced him to five to six years on four counts, one to five years on two counts, and one to three years on one count, to run concurrently. He was taken into custody to be sent to Waupun. Peterson confessed to underweighing patrons’ milk and diverting surplus to his own butter sales.
