Disappearance in Rost Lake near Pound shocks community
Lloyd Baenen eighteen of Klondike vanished after a boat overturned on Rost Lake three miles southwest of Pound. Authorities dragged the lake through the night without recovering his body as Baenen and a companion fished when a throttle was bumped wide open causing the craft to capsize.
