Chicago dispatch reports Congressman Sherman in Cleveland General Hospital after a bilious attack. Doctors consider gall stones possibly requiring surgery. surgeons are en route. Mrs Sherman and son Richard expected at 5:40 PM. officials stress slim chance of operation and that Sherman is not in danger.
The family of Congressman James S. Sherman was summoned to Cleveland after he was taken from the home of Myron T. Herrick to a hospital in critical condition. A renowned Baltimore surgeon rushed to the city to assist.
Congressman Sherman is seriously ill in Cleveland with gall stones. He was taken to Lakeside hospital after cramps on the train from Cincinnati. Ex Governor Herrick hosts him. doctors expect tests by specialists to determine if surgery is needed.
A new Catholic church in Viroqua will be dedicated next Sunday with Bishop Schwebach presiding. An excursion will run from La Crosse at 9 AM, and Rev Father Murphy will speak as several hundred La Crosse residents prepare to attend.
