Reynolds May Hire Counsel On Reapportionment
Gov. John W. Reynolds said he will hire special counsel to pursue a State Supreme Court action to force reapportionment after Attorney General George Thompson balked. Stanton Named Secretary of Wisconsin Jesuit Province
Rev. Floyd L. Stanton, Marquette University vice president for student affairs since 1958, was named secretary of the Wisconsin province of the Jesuit Order based in Milwaukee. The announcement was made by Very Rev. John J. Foley. Stanton, a Waterloo Iowa native, is a Loras College and St. Louis University graduate, ordained in 1948, who joined Marquette’s theology department faculty in 1953.
