John O. Johnsrud dies at his home 609 South Fourth Street at 2 30 after a ten month illness. He was 54 born February 18 1858 in Eidsvold Norway and emigrated in 1880. He lived in La Crosse employed at Colman’s Lumber Co. Survived by a widow and three half brothers in Norway. Funeral from Fessler Dahl parlors Sunday at 2 30 Rev H G Magelssen officiating with interment at Oak Grove cemetery.

Mrs Mary Proksch aged 78 died yesterday at a local hospital after a year long illness. Born January 18 1873 in Prega she resided two miles northeast of Stoddard and is survived by her husband three sons Elmer Lester Wesly three daughters Rhoda Gertrude Edna her father Joseph Lemich of Chipmunk Coulee and three brothers William Lewis Edward of Stoddard. Funeral services are set for Monday at 1:60 at the residence and 2 at the Stoddard German Lutheran church with Rev Palischik officiating. interment will follow in Stoddard cemetery.
