Edward Pendergast died suddenly at his son Cassius Pendergrast home in Hokah of heart failure. A Civil War veteran born in Kentucky he was 83 and survived by a widow three sons and four daughters. Funeral Tuesday at Hokah Presbyterian Church with interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
