O A Sisson Dies After Stroke at Mindoro Home
O A Sisson, a Mindoro pioneer, died yesterday evening at his brother Frank Sisson’s home in Mindoro after a visit to La Crosse for his brother O F Sisson’s funeral. He was stricken with apoplexy soon after arriving in Mindoro. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Train speeding at time of accident in Nessler case
Miss Mayme Nessler, a north side school teacher, was killed by a fast Chicago Milwaukee and St Paul train at the depot on June 15 1906. Her father sues the railroad for 5000 damages claiming she believed she was in safety as the train approached. Witnesses testified Nessler walked along the platform with her back to the engine when the Fast Mail struck at about twenty five miles per hour. The trial adjourned with the jury viewing the Mill street crossing.
