In-City School Busing Again Debated by City Council
A special Common Council session is planned to discuss in-city school bus service after a budget cut ended it for Christmas. Mayor Gilbertson signals possible Thursday vote, with aldermen ready to push the meeting even without him. The issue hinges on contract prep with La Crosse Transit Co and potential city funding approval by the school board next week. The Red Cross Bloodmobile reports 85 pints collected at Dairyland Power Co op during a one day visit, with return in February.
