Wisconsin CCR approves 14 district vocational plan
The Coordinating Committee for Higher Education approves a 14 district master plan for uniform vocational and technical education across Wisconsin. A proposed 15th district from Eau Claire to Superior was not endorsed, with further study promised for rural 17 county areas and the Rhinelander–Wausau link. The plan aims for at least one major vocational institute per district with a 1970 legislative deadline.
