Young killer wounded after police gunfight near Vandervgrift
State police captured 17 year old John Fallone after a second gun battle following a triple slaying. Fallone was wounded in the head and taken to Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. City Condemnation Court Denies Dismissal Motions
In La Crosse the County Court retained the condemnation case against five properties near the auditorium. Judge Roy V. Ahlstrom denied two defense motions to dismiss and set 2 p.m. Friday for drawing a new 36 member jury panel and 2 p.m. Tuesday for final jury selection. The motions argued lack of offers to property owners and lack of valid authority to negotiate. The judge said the matters involve jury questions and should be resolved by the jury. Old Library Structure Here Sold For 35 Dollars
