Kingsport Man Hurt In Two Car Wreck
Kingsport resident TH L Widener, 59, was treated in good condition at Helsinn Valley Community Hospital after a head on collision on the Johnson City Highway Monday afternoon. Widener had a lacerated face and abrasions. driver Noble Copzs, 46, of Ford Town, was the other motorist. The crash occurred at Rock Hill. Tennessee Highway Patrolman Lloyd Coxes investigated but details were not available. No official report yet. Anna Chu Hok, 48, former $13 hour factory worker, became sole heir to a $104,289 estate, inheriting from her uncle Michael Kowal who died May 9 at 70. Kowal, a confectionery operator, retired 21 years ago with a small sum from savings and travel.
