Gastonia Juniors overwhelmed Kings Mountain 15 to 1 at City Stadium in elimination action. Right hander Kendrick took the loss for Kings Mountain while Oates and White combined on the mound for Gastonia as they built a big early lead and cruised to victory in front of the season's largest crowd.
