Thunder of the Sea screens for Lutheran mission work
The Thunder of the Sea, a religious sound film, debuts Tuesday at 7:30 pm with Rev. L. Boyd Hamm inviting all to view. The film promotes the Board of American Missions of the United Lutheran Church in America and features scenes of historic church roles from Muhlenberg to colonial settlers. A new statewide routing system supports screenings across the United States and Canada over six months, with multiple projection teams visiting towns nightly. Also noted, Mitchell County farmers completed a wool pool on May 18 and plan a lamb pool for June 14, aided by Extension livestock specialist Cage.
