Church Parade Role Praised by Kings Mountain Ministers
Rev J H Brendall of the Kings Mountain Ministerial Association released a letter lauding church participation in the Merchants Association Christmas parade. He highlighted the group’s aim to bring Christ in Christmas and thanked laymen and women from local churches for their hard work on the float despite cold weather. The float, illuminated on the library lawn, drew broad praise and a wish for greater religious emphasis in future parades.
