Saturday afternoon about 4 Zeb Vance Harrelson was killed by a southbound freight train. The body lay on the track about 200 yards dragged after the impact. The injuries were severe with both feet and hands reported missing amid a crowded street scene.
Raleigh reports the state Division of Purchase and Contract will receive beds for duplicating machines and hear claims for typewriters sound projectors and a crawler tractor crane with values ranging up to $15 000 to $50 000.
