Hillsboro Lad Barely Escapes Serious Injury

Donald Taylor fifteen year old son of Charles Taylor living five miles southwest of Hillsboro was thrown from a pony while riding at a fast run. He was unconscious for about half an hour and feared to have internal injuries before friends and Tom Chalt helped him to the Taylor home.

Frankfort Guests and Kentucky Visit Highlights

Mrs. Hamilton Michaels and her daughter of Frankfort are guests of S. D. Alexander and family. Uncle Tom Glascock returned from a visit with his daughter Mrs. E. E Baker in Cincinnati. He also visited in Kentucky, held President Taft and had a big time overall.

Deer Sighted Near Yeddo Stirs Local Chase

A deer with two foot long horns was seen on the public highway east of Yeddo last Friday near noon. Austin Myers and his wife reported the sighting from their veranda and alerted neighbors who pursued the animal with shotguns for about a mile before giving up.
