Howard Jones, about 57, collapsed while loading hay on his farm near Yedda after returning from Veedersburg. His wife Mrs. Jones acted quickly, but he died of heart trouble before medical help arrived. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Carl Hite, and the family planned to attend O E S lodge.

The post office well is tagged by City Health Officer Dr. A L Ratcliff as polluted and unfit for drinking after the Indiana State Board of Health analysis found typhoid germs and 39 percent lime. Prominent Farmer In Marshall region Takes Own Life
Gaston Yow a 60 year old farmer living a mile west of Marshall committed suicide last Saturday by taking strychnine. He traveled to Marshall with his daughter earlier that day and returned home to end his life, leaving a paper with wrapped strychnine in the barn. No motive is known and family relations were reported peaceful.

Covington Fair Named Fountain County's Big Week
Fountain County will hold the Covington Fair September 7 to 10 marking the fifty fifth celebration. The event features livestock and farm products exhibits, harness racing with ten races and 3200.00 in premiums, an aeroplane demonstration by Fountain county native Charles McDermon, a Ford touring car given away Friday at four, unchanged admission 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children, and special train service as in past years.

Breaks Collar Bone of A F Randolph Foster Farmer
