Kingman to Get New Poultry House Enterprise
Rector and Ratcliff through the newly organized Commercial Club acquired the former Dr. J T Redman Veterinary Infirmary to convert into a modern poultry and packing house. The project promises higher market prices for farmers with poultry and eggs and will hire two workers and operate a dedicated wagon to collect stock from nearby communities. The Star urges full local support as the home enterprise prepares to begin operations next week with poultry picked here and shipped to an eastern market.
