Covington Auto Races Draw Thousands. Two Minor Accidents
The Covington auto races attracted several thousand spectators on Wednesday with only two minor incidents. A Ford driven by Roberts passed a car on a turn, hit a fence post, and stopped with the machine out of commission. no injuries occurred. A Saxon rolled three times during a trial spin, badly disfigured and unable to race. Event winners include Roberts in the 10 mile auto race, Cole first in the 15 mile motorcycle, Johnson in 15 and 25 mile autos, with time records noted.
