John Young, 35, of Attica, plasterer, drowned after falling from the top of a motor boat during a Friday night pleasure trip on the Wabash River. The boat party, including Ord Wilson and John Keller, attempted rescue as Young drifted away, but search efforts continued with the boat not removed from the grave, despite miles of dragging. Parcel Post Extension Plans Boost Weight Limit and Rates

Judge Schoonover Injured in Ohio Car Wreck
The Indianapolis Star reported Judge E. Schoonover and his wife in a Lima, Ohio collision with an interurban car. Their injuries were painful but not serious, and they planned to return home to Covington after repairs.
