Two Shots Fired at McIntire Mine Leave Delp Dead
The Star reports a fatal shooting at the McIntire coal mine last Saturday about 11:30 am. Robert Thomas, 22, shot and killed Pleas ant Delp, 35, after a quarrel over Delp telling him to leave. Thomas fled to Montezuma but was captured and jailed. Delp died soon after at his home. Delp belonged to F and A M and K of P lodges. funeral held Monday.
