Kingman lodge 314 F and A M and the Eastern Star announced Tuesday night the new officers. F and A M include Lindley Ewbank Massey Ratcliff Bonebrake Hepler Rowlett McCrary Wilkey and others. Eastern Star lists Russell Williamson Flora Ratcliff Willamson Wilkey Ratcliff Hepler Towell Towell Glascock Gillum Van Duyn Booe Harrington. Reps for the Star points include Glascock Gillum Van Duyn Booe and Harrington with Towell and Wilkey among stewards.

Death of Frank Cleo Mann 1906 At 6 Months

Friday Dec 28 1906 at the home of Mr and Mrs Acie Mann 14 miles south of Cates the spirit of Frank Cleo Mann left for the Father. Born June 8 1906 he died of tuberculosis after nine weeks illness leaving two sisters one brother and his mother and father. The obituary notes Frankie is with the angels and includes a brief verse.

Farmers hold a successful Purdue institute in Rockville

The Mill Creek township farmers held an institute in the Christian church last Saturday under Purdue University. Prof Smith led discussions on Breeding and Feeding Farm Animals with clear instruction. Music by Miss Mollie Russell and a strong choir drew wide attendance. The event praised for uniting farmers and urged better future meetings.
