Canvassers Convene in Brule County November 11 1904
Brule county South Dakota canvassing board led by Louis Richards C Manz Ben Meiller O A Crown and James H Yarosh met at the county auditor’s office to examine returns from the November 8 1904 general election. They authorized opening a locked Grand View precinct box and later canvassed votes electing state senator representatives treasurer register of deeds sheriff auditor clerk of circuit court state attorney county judge superintendent of schools coroner county assessor surveyor and multiple county commissioners and justices of the peace. The board ordered warrants for claims and approved reconciling settlements and tax fund transfers.
