Supreme Court Upholds Carolina Glass Case Outcome
The Supreme Court declares the 1910 act constitutional to the extent it transfers dispensary funds to the commission, but unconstitutional for granting it judicial powers. The ruling supports the commission’s collection of about 23 000 from county boards and does not alter ongoing dispensary operations. Justice Hydrick writes the opinion.
