The Dalby family of Glenwood Iowa arrived in Keota for a visit with Mr and Mrs Cole. They recently sold a lumber business and began an automobile trip to California with camping gear. On night five their car burned and they secured a replacement. Heavy snow in Colorado led them to detour and linger in Eastern Colorado before continuing southward.
