Frederick B. Marbut acting head of the University school of journalism submitted his resignation to President George A. Bowman to accept an associate professorship at Pennsylvania State College in State College Pa He will teach beginning reporting copyreading and law of the press with later courses in history of journalism and advanced reporting His career included posts at St Louis Globe-Democrat Sioux City Tribune Montana Standard Washington Star and Associated Press His education spans Missouri Harvard and Phi Kappa Psi membership remains noted.

Captain DeWeese Wounded in Guatemala Revolution
Captain Louis DeWeese a Pan American Airways officer and former university student was wounded October 20 during a Guatemala upheaval while driving toward an airport to ferry a plane out of the danger zone. He and his wife and infant son were living in Guatemala City and have since flown to New Orleans.

KSU Rehabilitation Students Boost BA College Enrollment
