NTFC Means Student Talent to Old-Timers Returns
NTFC, the student talent show patterned after the Mask and Wig, was revived this spring by Mary Haines Bud Gerber and Stella Greenbaum with support from the Student Council. Don Parker Bill Guisewite and Stan Mouse created the original concept, with a 1941 second production by Guisewite and Mouse and Frances Allen assisting. A 125-student staff, a Cleveland‑based orchestra led by John Lemak, 52 songs, and 13 scenes marked the historic production lineage.

President appoints journalism teacher Miss Offineer
Miss Beatrice Offineer a former Akron Beacon Journal editor was named instructor in the school of journalism by President George A. Bowman. Students Pledge $400 for Athletics Drive
The University athletic association has raised $125 toward a $900 goal as Blue Key led by John Williamson announces plans to restore varsity basketball, baseball, and wrestling.
